<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a solid electrolyte type fuel cell for easily manufacturing a precise reaction prevention layer for preventing reaction of a solid electrolyte body with each electrode. <P>SOLUTION: This manufacturing method is used for manufacturing a solid electrolyte type fuel cell composed of a flat solid electrolyte body 1 (zirconia-based, lanthanum gallate-based, etc.); a fuel electrode 3 formed on one surface of the electrolyte body 1; an air electrode 4 formed on the one surface or the other surface of the electrolyte body 1; and the reaction prevention layers 21 and 22 formed between the electrolyte body 1 and at least either of the fuel electrode 3 and the air electrode 4 and having a composition of Ce<SB>1-x</SB>Ln<SB>x</SB>O<SB>2-δ</SB>(wherein Ln is a rare earth element; and 0.05≤x≤0.3). The prevention layers 21 and 22 are formed by using a wet process such as a screen printing method or a tape cast method, and the specific surface area of the Ce<SB>1-x</SB>Ln<SB>x</SB>O<SB>2-δ</SB>material powder (wherein Ln is a rare earth element; and 0.05≤x≤0.3) used for forming the prevention layers 21 and 22 is 6-45 m<SP>2</SP>/g. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
