<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processor, a storage device controller, and a control method for the information processor classifying hardware devices composing the information processor into a plurality of groups, and capable of carrying out the inspection of an operating state per each group in response to a load of the information processor. <P>SOLUTION: The information processor has a function of inspecting operating states with respect to a plurality of hardware devices. It is provided with a means for receiving information for classifying each hardware device provided in the information processor into the plurality of groups, a means for detecting a processing load of the information processor, and a means for carrying out the inspection of an operating state to a hardware device belonging to a group with a detected processing load smaller than a threshold of the group classified by the information. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
