THREE-DIMENSIONAL DISPLAY METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a three-dimensional display method by which a unique three-dimensional stereoscopic image can be perceived in the case of displaying a three-dimensional solid by respectively displaying a plurality of depth sampling images in a depth direction.

SOLUTION: In the three-dimensional display method, the three-dimensional stereoscopic image is displayed by generating a plurality of depth sampling images being two-dimensional images obtained by sampling a display target object in the depth direction and displaying a plurality of generated depth sampling images respectively on a plurality of display surfaces located at different depth positions as seen from an observer. In the method, the depth sampling images are displayed respectively on a plurality of display surfaces in different order from the order of the depth positions in the case of sampling. For example, the order of the depth sampling images displayed respectively on a plurality of display surfaces is reverse to the order in the case of sampling.
