PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plasma display panel in which discharge efficiency can be improved and a cross talk can be prevented. SOLUTION: The plasma display panel comprises an address electrode which passes through each discharge cell that becomes a picture element unit of the plasma display panel, a second sustaining electrode which is located at the periphery on both sides of the discharge cell in the direction crossing the address electrode and supplies a second sustaining pulse, and at least one or more first sustaining electrodes which are located at the center of the discharge cell in the direction crossing the address electrode and supplies a first sustaining pulse alternately with the second sustaining pulse.
