PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a freezing performance measuring device for a refrigerator quickly, surely and easily detecting the impairing of freezing performance of the refrigerator by every refrigerator in operation when the freezing performance of the refrigerator in operation is impaired, and measuring whether the refrigerator is operated with the necessary freezing performance or not. SOLUTION: A cooling device cools a cooled matter 8 by a liquefied gas 5 stored in a liquefied gas storage container 4 of a cryostat 1, and condenses the liquefied gas evaporated in the container by refrigerators 10, 10'. The freezing performance measuring device of the refrigerator is composed of first heaters 22, 22' mounted on second condensation parts 11b, 11b' of the refrigerators 10, 10' and respectively having a capacity corresponding to the cooling performance necessary for the refrigerators 10, 10', temperature sensor blocks 23, 23' incorporating temperature sensors 24, 24', and mounted on positions where the liquefied gas condensed by the refrigerators 10, 10' is dropped at lower parts of tip parts 11c, 11c' of the condensing parts of the refrigerators, and second heaters 25, 25' of small capacity built in the temperature sensor blocks 23, 23'.
