PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a container for packaging in which the shape and the like of a commodity stored in a main body can be confirmed from the outside, and foreign substances entering from the outside are prevented from sticking on the stored commodity. SOLUTION: This container for packaging is formed of a thin plastic material through which the outer shape of the commodity can be visually confirmed. In addition, on the top end of a main body 11, an opening part 12 provided with a plurality of sides, a header part 20 with a folding-back apex part 24 in which one side 13 of this opening part is extended upward and is folded back inward and reaches inside of the main body, tongue piece parts 31 and 31 in which both sides of this header part are extended and are folded inward to form an inner lid, and a lid body 40 in which a side facing the header part is extended and is folded to cover on the inner lid, are provided. The header part is constituted in such a way that it is folded back inward and the lid body 40 is folded back inward, and the extended end part 43 of the lid body is inserted into the main body under a condition where it is brought into contact with the folded-back apex part 23 of the header part.
