PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a packaging apparatus with which no pin hole is formed on a package and high speed processing is possible when a polypropylene-made film sheet is used to wrap continuously carried objects to be packaged. SOLUTION: The packaging apparatus forms the package E' by winding the film sheet 15 around and gluing it to the continuously moving objects E to be packaged and thereafter fusion-cutting the sheet 15 between the objects. The apparatus is constituted of a cut forming member 30 for forming cuts on the film sheet 15 corresponding to portions to be folded before the sheet 15 is folded on both sides of the object E, and a pressing member 50 provided on the downstream of a fusion-cutting means for pressing a cut portion of the fusion-cut package E'.
