PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To restrain occurrence of biased abrasion in a tire for a small truck. SOLUTION: This pneumatic tire 1 comprises a carcass 6 and a belt layer 7 consisting of at least two belt plies 7A, 7B arranged to the outside in the tire radial direction of the carcass 6. In the belt layer 7, the overlapped width BW of the belt ply 7A with the belt ply 7B is 60 to 70% of a tire nominal width. A band layer 9 consisting of a band ply with band cords arranged substantially parallel in the circumferential direction of the tire is formed only on the outside of the tire radial direction and in a crown region Cr of the belt layer 7. In the outermost belt ply B adjacent to the band layer 9, a cord angleθs of a belt code toward the tire circumferential direction at a shoulder region is smaller than a cord angleθc of the belt code at the crown region Cr.
