PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To readily provide at low cost a liquid jet head capable of suppressing occurrence of mutual interference even when nozzles are disposed in high density. SOLUTION: In this liquid jet head 1, a nozzle forming member 30 having the plurality of nozzles 31 is bonded with a pressurized liquid chamber substrate 10 having provided thereon a plurality of pressurized liquid chambers 11 communicating with the respective nozzles 31, and a pressure converting means 40 is bonded to the pressurized liquid chamber 11 with a diaphragm 20 forming a part of the wall face of the pressurized liquid chamber 11 therebetween. The diaphragm 20 is vibrated by driving the pressure converting means 40 to vary the pressure of the inner section of the pressurized liquid chamber 11 so that a liquid drop is ejected from the nozzle 31. The pressure converting means 40 is a type of a laminated piezoelectric element in which piezoelectric materials and electrodes 41, 42 are alternately laminated and consists of an active region 40a and inactive regions 40b<SB>1</SB>, 40b<SB>2</SB>positioned on both ends of the active regions 40a in the longitudinal direction of the pressurized liquid chamber 11. The inactive region 40b<SB>2</SB>is connected to the pressurized liquid chamber substrate 10 with the diaphragm 20 therebetween so that the fluctuation of the pressurized liquid chamber substrate 10 is suppressed.
