PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide gravure printing equipment, which can lighten the burden of an operator and, at the same time, reduce the cost of a printing product and further contribute to prevent environments from polluting by a method wherein printing contents are precisely added to a matter to be printed without requiring proofing for registering at the utilization of an initial operation of a printing plate cylinder. SOLUTION: The control device 60 of the gravure printing equipment is equipped with a calculating section 61a, a storing section 62a, a drive controlling section 61b and an inputting means 63 and is so constituted that, when attached temperature information, material of film, width size, thickness size and the diametral size Dn of the printing plate cylinder, all of which have been set through an inputting means 64 in advance, are input, the calculating section 61a extracts the Young's modulus corresponding to these input data from the storing section 62a and, at the same time, a tension value added to the film is calculated by utilizing the Young's modulus and the data so as to control a conveying means by the drive controlling section 61b in order to add this tension value to the film.
