FIELD: agriculture, poultry science. SUBSTANCE: the present innovation deals with raising farm animals and poultry of different species, age and productivity direction. Fodder additive for farm animals and poultry containing salts of citric acid and succinic acid additionally contains malonic acid, and as salts of citric acid it contains potassium citrate and/or sodium citrate at the following ratio of components, weight%: potassium citrate and/or sodium citrate 10-50, succinic acid 40-80, malonic acid 2-10. The suggested fodder additive is steadily spread in the mass of dry combined feedstuff, provides balanced intracellular metabolism and efficient energy accumulation in macroergic bonds, and, also, enables to inhibit the process of amino acids and fatty acids destruction in body cells during respiration up to the end products that stimulates accumulation of proteins and fat6s in farm animals and poultry.
