The invention relates to a suspending device for webs made of flexible material, comprising a fastening section which allows the suspending device to be fastened to or near an edge of a planar web material, and a suspending section that allows hanging on a profiled rod (7). The aim of the invention is to create a suspending device that can be fastened and released in a simple and quick manner by means of a profiled rod or similar which is used for suspending corresponding webs of material or pockets. Said aim is achieved b y the fact that the suspending section consists of two essentially opposite an d facing hook parts (4, 5) which define an undercut, at least one of said hook parts (5) being movable so as to at least partly uncover an undercut in such a way that the profiled rod can be inserted into the undercuts between the hoo k parts. The profiled rod is secured within the two undercuts once the movable hook part has been moved back into the initial position which is located essentially opposite the other hook part.
