The stamping device has a housing (20) with two inside side faces, a frame (10) insertable in the housing and a stamping pad (13) inserted in the frame. A stamping part (40) has a stamping face (43) on one side and two swivel pivots (41) on two opposite ends extending movable through two slits (33) in a support part (30). The swivel pivots are coupled rotatable to the two insides of the housing. A semi circular projection with several teeth (42) is mounted at each opposite end of the stamping part whereby the teeth can be brought into engagement with the toothed racks (34) at the ends of connecting rods (32) in the support part so that the stamping part can be turned about 180 degrees. A spring (23) is mounted pretensioned between the inside of a top end of the housing and the outside of the top end of the frame.
