PURPOSE: An IC card is provided to obtain good printing properties on the card surface by securing good flatness of the card surface. CONSTITUTION: The IC card comprises an IC module(11) having an IC chip(14) embodied on the surface of an insulation wafer and a chip reinforcement plate(16) equipped in a side wall of the IC module(11); a core layer(12) having a plurality of sheet materials. Inner core sheets(S2,S3) adjacent to the IC module(11) have through holes(S2c,S3b) formed in a region corresponding to the IC mounted part. At this stage, an equation A=(B1+C1) 30 mum is satisfied, where A (mum) represents the sum of heights of the through holes, B1 represents a projection height on an IC mounted surface of the IC module(11), and C1 represents a projection height on an IC non-mounted surface. |
