A door closing drive with integral damper has a cylindrical outer housing with mounting bracket to fit either way up onto a door. A central core has a grooved outer surface to take elastic rings and has shafts which extend out of both ends of the housing enabling the drive arm to be fitted to either shaft. The outer housing has two pressed indentations with profiled inner surfaces to press onto the elastic rings, which are coated in oil for a smooth action. A return spring is mounted inside a separate cylindrical shell and fitted inside the housing. The rotational setting of the shell is adjustable via a tooling bar inserted through a slot in the outer housing and is set by inserting a radial plug into one of a number of holes in the shell. |
