A process for producing dentures comprises pressing a heated aromatic thermoplast material (24) between a mould (1) and a stamper (2). The material is in the form of a plate and is placed on a model (20) in the mould. The material is then warmed and a plastic mass (26) in the stamper is pressed against the warmed material. The thermoplast is eg PES, PSU, or PEEK.
