The sweet packet comprises a hinged-lid box with lower part and lid (11) connected pivotally to the back wall through an articulated line. The bars of confectionery are arranged upright side by side in lines so that the width of the box corresponds roughly to the dimensions of one line. A stepped rise in the base wall of the packet supports one row of bars opposite a second row for easier handling. Independent claim describes method for manufacturing packet by inserting blank into pocket of folding revolver and introducing the rows of bars into the partly folded blank.
