Multiple effect apparatus and process for removing ethylene oxide from a gaseous mixture

This document describes a process for removing ethylene oxide from gaseous mixtures and an apparatus suitable for implementing this process. The removal process involves blowing the gaseous mixture, containing ethylene oxide, through a series of one or more bubblers (1), static filling columns (5), and nebulization columns (6); inside these items, the gaseous mixture comes into contact with a solution (3) able to decompose ethylene oxide. The gaseous mixture is bubbled and decontaminated thoroughly and quickly, removing ethylene oxide effectively.
