The styling brush has rows of bristles spaced from each other so that the individual rows (B1-B3) have associated air guide elements (L1) which are closed in the radial direction and each form a flow channel opening to an adjoining bristle row. The radially outwardly pointing closures of the air guide elements form a slit sleeve (11) with each bristle row arranged in a slit. The hairbrush can have a coupling member to fit onto a hot air blower (17).
