The ventilation and air extraction installation (10) has a vertical shaft (12) provided by outer mantle blocks (14) enclosing an inner sleeve (22) assembled from ceramic cuff sleeves, having side openings for connection with ventilation and air extraction lines. The inner sleeve is supported by the base of the shaft at the bottom end and terminated by a termination plate (26) at the top end, with an intermediate annular gap between the inside of the shaft and the outside of the inner sleeve.
