The telescopic sun visor (1) is continuously cast in one piece with a u-shaped area (2) for the accommodation of a bearing (5) and a triangular transitional segment (8) between both areas (2, 3). A recess (3.2) is provided in the center of the main segment (3) for the insertion of a mirror. The edge (3.1) opposite the bearing (5) is covered with a narrow strip of a soft material like rubber or a suitable plastic (4).
