SYNTHETIC RESIN ARTICLE WITH EXCELLENT LIGHT TRANSMISSION AND DIFFUSION PERFORMANCE AND PROCESS FOR THE SAME

PURPOSE: Provided is a synthetic resin article having excellent diffusion performance and light transmission rate, as well as mold-releasing ability and industrial productivity. CONSTITUTION: The synthetic resin article comprises a monomer mixture consisting of 80-99.5 mass% of unsaturated monomer principally containing methyl methacrylate and 20-0.5 mass% of reactive polysiloxane compound and, optionally, 0.01-0.05 weight parts fluorescent dye based on 100 mass parts of the monomer mixture. The synthetic resin article is characterized in that it has unevenness on at least one surface with inclined angle of the unevenness ranged from 20 to 60 degree. The unevenness has average space(P) of pitch threads ranged from 5-50μm and surface roughness(Rz) ranged from 3-15μm.
