The holder package for a surgical instrument, and especially the drill bit (1) for use in implants, has a holder section (2) which can be released for at least one working section (3) of the bit. A removable cap (4) at the holder section holds at least a part of the drill bit shaft (5). The holder and the cap, fitting tightly together, are of a transparent plastics material which can be sterilized by gamma rays. |
