The kite has two front lines (14,16) combined into a draw line (26), and with two back lines (18, 20) fixable on a bar (4). An additional line (22) engaging on the kite (2) forms an additional draw line so that the additional line in the flight phase stabilises the geometry of the kite in addition to the front and back lines. The draw line can be fixed secure on a holding element (28) through an unlocking part which is guided on the additional line.
