A commercial bakery has baking trays and baking forms vacuum cleaned after use by a suction head. The suction head is an elongated box with front and rear walls linked by a suction passage. The suction head front face has a lip projecting beyond the suction head lower edge and covering a free space to a suction inlet. The projecting lip forms an integral part of the suction head housing and has a buffer strip on the exposed edge extending the full width of the unit. The lip is of the same depth throughout.
