The twin roller machine has two rollers (10) mounted rotatable in a machine frame whose side parts (17) make up a trapezoidal configuration with their cross members (22,23) whereby the upper cross member forms the long side and the lower parallel cross member forms the short side. The length of the two upper cross members is greater than the length of the rollers with the short drive connection including their attached bearing housing (13,14) with bearing cover whilst the length of the two lower cross members corresponds to the length of the roller.
