Method for controlling image acquisition and related control unit

The method involves using a control unit (6) for controlling image recording equipment and a computer unit (1) that processes the data in the recorded images. It involves assembling control commands for image recording into at least one script and transmitting the script from the computer unit to the control unit. Several scripts can be held on the computer unit. A script can be newly generated, modified and/or expanded on the computer unit. Independent claims are also included for the following: (a) a controller for controlling an image recording (b) a device for multi-dimensional image recording with a camera (c) a computer program for implementing the inventive method (d) and a computer program product for implementing the inventive method.
