The scaffold consists of uprights to which are connected railing struts (1), each of which has an elongated hole (2) on one or both ends for the hanging on the scaffold. The slot length of the elongated hole corresponds at least to the difference between the scaffold section length and the length of the diagonal of the scaffold section. The slot length or overall slot length is equal to or more than 10cm. The slot length per each section size of the scaffold lies within the range of 40cm to 60cm. An Independent claim is included for railing struts for a scaffold.
