Stabilisation of aromatic moieties by aromatic polymers

Stabilization of an active ingredient (I) comprising one or more monocyclic or fused polycyclic (hetero)aromatic rings and having a molecular weight of 1000 or less comprises encapsulating (I) in a synthetic polymer (II) with aryl groups having a glass transition temperature of at least 45degreesC. Independent claims are also included for: (1) particles comprising (I) and (II); (2) composition comprising the particles in a cosmetically or physiologically acceptable medium.
