The three-dimensional body consists of two or more parts (3,5). The parts are connected to each other, and a permanent internal hollow chamber (7) is defined between them by introduction of a flowing medium (9) under pressure. The parts are welded to each other, pref. by welding (11) the edge of one part to an edge or surface of another part, while leaving a feed aperture for the medium. After the forming process, the flowing medium is drained. The body is e.g. a letter or similar.
