The petrol pump gun has an automatic shut-off with sensor and control to switch the electric motor of the pump on and off. The sensor is connected to the control. The sensor has a pressure switch with hollow cylindrical pressure line (7) whose mouth (11) is at least 5 mm away from the mouth (9) of the filler pipe (3). The pressure line can be placed spirally round the connection (4) for the hose (5).
