Coriolis mass flow meter using strain gauges to measure pressure

A strain sensor (3) is applied to a measuring pipe (1) to detect the strain in the pipe. The strain sensor is connected to a pressure signal output device (4) to transmit a strain signal. The pressure signal output device outputs a pressure signal based on the strain signal. Independent claims are included for a method of measuring pressure in a mass flowmeter; and for the use of the method.
