摘要 <p>PURPOSE: A panel display device adjusting the number of sustain discharge pulses according to display data amount and its driving method are provided to maintain a constant brightness ratio between sub frames without regard to display load of each sub frame. CONSTITUTION: A panel comprises two glass substrates(28). The first substrate has the first electrode and the second electrode(13). Transparent electrodes are formed with an ITO, and bus electrodes are formed with Cr or Cu. The first electrode and the second electrode are coated with a dielectric layer. The third electrode is formed on the second substrate to be orthogonal with a sustain electrode. A long wall(14) is formed between address electrodes. A discharge space is formed between each phosphor(27) and a MgO plane(25).</p>
