PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To control efficiently the scattering direction of ink mist generated by the ink-jet, and prevent the stain in a recording device and deposition of ink mist which causes defective operation. SOLUTION: A recording head 1 which jets ink and records on a recording paper is mounted on a carriage 2 supported freely slidably on a carriage shaft 3. A recording paper is carried in the direction vertical to the moving direction of the carriage 2 by a carrying roller 102. A blowing fan 40 generating air flows flowing from the upstream side toward the downstream side in the carrying direction of the recording paper is set on the upstream side of the carriage 2 to the carrying direction of the recording paper. |
