An electric motor housing for use in toy construction kits is fitted with re-entrant tenons, or tongues, and grooves on its external surfaces. The housing provides space for internal current sources adjacent to the motor, and has plug sockets by means of which current may be supplied from external sources, or current may be supplied from the internal source to supply external loads. Typically a switch is provided to the rear of the motor and the plugs are fitted with wiper contacts.</p> |
