<p>PURPOSE: A method for managing resources of a call control processor in a mobile communication system is provided to maintain a call by requesting re-allocation of available resources without releasing the call. CONSTITUTION: A base station transmits an origination request call or a destination response call to a call control processor of a control station upon receiving a corresponding request from a mobile terminal(S10). The call control processor requests resource allocation from a resource management processor(S20). It is determined whether resources are allocated(S30). If resource allocation is available, resources are allocated to the call of the mobile terminal(S40). If resource allocation is not available, the resource management processor transmits a resource allocation failure message to the call control processor(S60). The call control processor checks whether a different call has been released within certain time or a different processor has turned to normal state from an abnormal state(S70).</p> |
