PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure good design and visibility and to easily construct a complete secondary seal by boring a mounting hole in exterior and interior side-plate glass, placing a spacer around the hole, projecting a glass liner, and sealing that space. SOLUTION: A glass liner 5 is temporarily bonded to a countersink 3 by tape or an adhesive. Next, a space formed by exterior side-plate glass 1, interior side-plate glass 2, a ring-shaped spacer 6, and the projecting part of the glass liner 5 is provided with a secondary seal 8 for fabrication. In that case, the glass liner 5 is projected 3mm or more toward an air layer. Then they are conveyed into a construction site, a hinge bolt 9 is mounted on the inside of the glass liner 5, and the space surrounded by window glass 2, the glass liner 5, the bolt 9, and the secondary seal 8 is provided with a finish seal 10. Then they are secured together with a nut 11. Thus portions around a hole are made compact, and no bubbles are allowed into corners during packing of the seal 8, so good design is not damaged. |
