摘要 PURPOSE: A method for manufacturing a stainless steel is provided which has superior forming property by applying the obtained optimum alloy component system to the local production site after obtaining an optimum alloy component system by calculating thermodynamics. CONSTITUTION: In a method for manufacturing a ferrite stainless steel, the method for manufacturing a ferritic stainless steel having superior forming property comprises the processes of carrying out hot rolling by heating to the temperature range of 1200 to 1250 deg.C stainless steel comprising 0.02 wt.% or less of C, 0.5 wt.% or less of Mn, 0.02 wt.% or less of P, 0.03 wt.% or less of S, 17 to 20 wt.% of Cr, 0.02 wt.% or less of N, 0.6 wt.% or less of Nb and a balance of Fe and other inevitable impurities, wherein Nb/(C+N) is 8 to 22, solid melted C+N is 75 ppm or less, and solid melted Nb is 0.15 ppm or less; rapidly cooling the hot rolling annealed steel after finish milling the hot rolled stainless steel to the temperature range of 750 to 900 deg.C, and hot rolling annealing the finish milled steel in a temperature ranging from 950 to 1050 deg.C; and cold rolling annealing the cold rolled steel in the same conditions as the hot rolling annealing after cold rolling the rapidly cooled steel to 70% or more, and then rapidly cooling the cold rolling annealed steel.
