POWER CONTROLLER OF MOBILE TERMINAL

PURPOSE: A power controller of a mobile terminal is provided to protect a stored data in the memory by preventing a system error possibly caused by change or shortage of a battery. CONSTITUTION: A capacity detector(107-41) detects remaining capacity of an internal battery or an external battery(107-2). The capacity detector(107-41) detects whether a system has been connected to a charger and outputs a corresponding result to a determining unit(107-42). The determining unit(107-42) generates the first and second emergency signals according to an output value of the capacity detector(107-41) and an operation mode state of the system, and outputs them to a CPU. The determining unit(107-42) outputs the first emergency signal to the CPU if a power source is not provided suddenly. The determining unit(107-42) outputs the second emergency signal to the CPU if power is too much consumed to operate a mobile terminal in a normal mode.
