PURPOSE: A bell sound and call waiting tone service system and method using synthesized voice of a star are provided to offer voice bell sound or voice call waiting tone by synthesizing voice of a star as voice of content desired by a user. CONSTITUTION: A user is connected to a voice synthesizing server to access the Internet by using a computer terminal(300). The user enters to a log-in stage to determine whether the user is valid for a bell sound and call waiting tone service(310). The voice synthesizing server transmits a menu list to the terminal(330). When a bell sound menu(340) or a call waiting sound menu is selected(350), the voice synthesizing server transmits a list of stars available for voice synthesization(360). When a star is selected(370), a text of content to be voice-synthesized is inputted(380). Voice is synthesized based on the content of the inputted text. When the bell sound menu is selected(340), the voice synthesizing server receives a number of a receiver terminal and downloads the synthesized voice of the star to the terminal(394). |
