PURPOSE: A case of a recording medium for rental and sales purposes is provided to receive a recording medium inside an inner case in a sales case state when the case is combined with the recording medium, thereby realizing an easy work when the inner case is changed into a rental case state. CONSTITUTION: When a ceiling member(11) is combined with a cover portion(2) in a ceiling portion while a recording medium combining member(21) is combined with a base portion(1), a case becomes a sales recording medium case. If the ceiling member(11) moves up to a lower side of the cover portion(2) by a groove disposed in the cover portion(2) and the recording medium combining member(21) is combined with the ceiling member(11) by being open from the base portion(1), a space for receiving an inner case is formed inside the case when the base portion(1) and the cover portion(2) are closed.
