PURPOSE: A switching device of a filter cover for a washing machine is provided to increase the reliability of the washing machine by preventing a gap between a filter cover and a cabinet cover and improving the appearance of the filter cover and the cabinet cover. CONSTITUTION: Left, right and center hinge hooks(101,102,103) are inserted in hinge holes in the lower left, the right and the center of a pump cap(96) to be rotatable by protruding from the lower left, the right and the center of a filter cover. Left, right and center hooks(104,105,106) are hung in hook holes in the upper left, the right and the center of the pump cap by protruding from the upper left, the right and the center of the filter cover. Thereby, the filter cover is closed in a cabinet cover without a step.
