PURPOSE: An oil level sensor is provided to prevent a warning light from functioning an erroneous operation by allowing the oil level sensor to exactly detect an amount of oil due to a lift action of a float after a car restarts while moving on a slope way. CONSTITUTION: An oil level sensor includes a body(100), first and second insulating plates(210,220), power source/grounding plates(215,225), a guide bar(310), and a float(400). The body(100) is connected to the power source(215). The first and second insulating plates(210,220) are formed such that the first and the second insulating plates(210,220) are opposite to each other and spaced from each other by a predetermined distance. The guide bar(310) is formed on a lower surface of the first insulating plate(210). The float(400) is slidably inserted into and coupled with an outer peripheral surface of the guide bar(310), so that the float(400) rises and falls according to an amount of oil.
