摘要 PURPOSE: A light emitting tube array type display device is provided to efficiently extract the light emitted from a light emitting tube to a display surface without being influenced by the total reflection caused by a refraction. CONSTITUTION: A light emitting tube array type display device comprises a light emitting tube array having a plurality of light emitting tubes(1) encapsulated with a discharge gas and arranged in parallel with each other in the light emitting tube array; a translucent support(31) for supporting the light emitting tube array by contacting the display surface of the light emitting array, wherein the translucent support has an electrode arranged on the surface opposed to the light emitting tube array so as to apply voltages to the light emitting tubes; and a translucent adhesive layer(5) formed between the support and the light emitting tube array. The adhesive layer has refractivity higher than that of the tube body of the light emitting tube.
