DEVICE FOR COOLING INSIDE OF STRIP GRINDING CABIN

PURPOSE: A device for cooling the inside of a strip grinding cabin is provided to prevent a fire by easily removing swarf from the grinding cabin. CONSTITUTION: A device for cooling the inside of a strip grinding cabin is composed of an isolating unit for preventing swarf from scattering, and a cooling unit for lowering the temperature of the isolating unit and cooling the inside of the grinding cabin. The isolating unit includes a side isolating plate(10) vertically installed in the grinding cabin(100) and isolating the front and rear of a grinding belt(140), and an upper isolating plate(11) installed at the top of the side isolating plate and isolating the upper part of the grinding belt. The cooling unit includes a cooling tube(40) installed at the outside of the side isolating plate in zigzag, and cooling water supply/discharge tubes(41,42) connected to both ends of the cooling tube.
