PURPOSE: A method for controlling the supply amount of fuel for a vehicle is provided to prevent the stop and rpm drop of an engine by restricting the fuel from being excessively reduced when an intake air sensor is broken down. CONSTITUTION: In a control method of an ECU(Engine Control Unit) for supplying fuel in proportion to the amount of intake air reduced to the deceleration of a vehicle, a method for controlling the supply amount of fuel for a vehicle comprises steps for deciding if an intake air sensor for sensing the amount of the intake air is broken down or not(S11); preventing the amount of the fuel from being reduced to the deceleration of the vehicle if the intake air sensor is broken down(S13); and reducing and supplying the fuel amount of the fuel to the deceleration of the vehicle if the intake air sensor is not broken down(S15).
