PURPOSE: A POS(Point-Of-Sale) system embedded with a DVR(Digital Video Recorder) and a data processing method thereof are provided to prevent robbery by displaying a moving image captured from a CCTV(Closed Circuit TV) of the DVR on a screen used for the sale of the POS system. CONSTITUTION: The POS system comprises a POS input tool inputting sale data, a POS main body, and a POS output tool outputting the sale data to the screen of a monitor(50). Monitoring cameras(20) detecting the movement of an object and a DVR capture board(30) are installed to the POS system. The DVR capture board captures the moving image captured by the monitoring cameras, converts the moving image into a digital signal, and transmits the digital signal to the POS main body.
