PURPOSE: An LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) is provided to enhance the display quality by emitting the heat of the inside of the LCD. CONSTITUTION: The LCD(500) comprises a display unit(100) for displaying an image, a backlight assembly(200) for providing light to the display unit(100), a mold frame(300) for receiving the display unit(100) and a top chassis(400). The backlight assembly(200) comprises a lamp unit(230) generating the first light for displaying the image, a diffusion plate(240) for changing the first light into the second light with a uniform luminance distribution, a reflective plate(250) for reflecting light leaked from the lamp unit(230) into the diffusion plate(240), cooling members(260a,260b) for emitting the heat generated by the lamp unit(230) to the outside, and a bottom chassis(270). |
