<p>PURPOSE: A steam discharge device for a dish washer is provided to prevent malfunction caused by high-temperature steam by transmitting the power of a fan motor to a sealing cover mechanically. CONSTITUTION: A steam discharge device is composed of a door installed at the front of a washer body having a washing tub, a fan housing(82) installed at the door and guiding steam in the washing tub into the outside, a fan motor(84), a sealing cover(86), and a connecting unit(90). The fan housing includes a steam inlet(82a) and a steam outlet formed at the inside and outside of the door. The fan motor is installed at the steam outlet side of the fan housing, and generates suction force to discharge steam. The sealing cover is installed at the steam inlet side of the fan housing, and opens/closes the steam inlet. The connecting unit is installed between a rotary shaft(84b) of the fan motor and a shaft(86a) connected to the center of the sealing cover, and transmits the power of the fan motor to the sealing cover.</p> |
