PURPOSE: An airbag door mounting structure using a sliding hinge is provided to reduce weight and manufacturing costs by removing an airbag door plate and simplifying manufacturing process. CONSTITUTION: A sliding hinge(31) is inserted between a main core(11) and a chute(12), and the chute and a door reinforcing plate(33). A plurality of fixing members(33b) and flanges(33c) are formed at the inner surface of the door reinforcing plate. The fixing members are welded to the inner surface of an airbag door(15). Protrusions(31a,31b) are formed at both ends of the sliding hinge. One protrusion is disposed between the flange and the fixing member. The other protrusion is disposed between the main core and the chute. The sliding hinge slides on the airbag door, and restricts the motion of the door reinforcing plate to prevent the airbag door from being separated. |
